WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

CLOTHING
During the Dry Season (from November to March), it’s wise to wear light clothing, especially if you are not going deep into the Park. If you are going deep into the Park, it would be best to put on insect repellent and wear a protective layer of clothing, socks and boots, to avoid being bitten by tsetse flies.

In the rainy season (from April to October), do carry an umbrella or raincoat with you at all times. Again, if you are going into the Park, put on insect repellent and wear a protective layer of long-sleeve clothing, long trousers, socks and boots, to avoid being bitten by tsetse flies.
