Long Walking Safari

This is a long Trail walk which starts at the Park headquarters and goes through the Brugbani road to the Liner Pool where you can see elephants, roan antelopes, hartebeests and waterbucks. From here you move to the Mole River and follow it upwards to the Harabaharaba pool where you can rest and enjoy the history of the place while you sit on the tree platform. From there you can walk across Mole River and then climb Konkori Hill to the spring water near Murugu Camp. Throughout all this, you will enjoy the interesting history along the route.

From here you will descend the hill to the riverine forest to Mole River. You will then cross it and get to Richard Salt lick. On this route you can also see a lot of buffalos, and you may as well see activities of leopards and spotted hyenas.

This walk could be a day’s walk of about 20 km, which can be preferably done in the dry season (January to July) when the grasses are low, to enhance viewing.
